As we know most of the athlete will eat banana before,during or after race because it full of nutrients that they need. However,the most important is it can give instant energy for the athlete to continue their endurance. For example,almost every marathon event,the organizer will provide a banana for the runner after 21km to help the runners keep running until the finishing line.
Here is some information about the banana:-
- Energy - Supply proper carbohydrates necessary to replace the muscle glycogen(muscle sugar) used.
- Potassium -Help the body's circulatory system deliver oxygen to the brain,helping maintain regular heartbeat and proper water balance in.
- PMS - It contains B6. This vitamin regulates blood glucose levels and helps us in times of stress and helps to suppress cranky moods.
- Brain Power - Potassium-packed fruit helps learning because it makes the pupils more alert. Students find that they have more brain power and do better on exams when they eat bananas at breakfast and lunch.
- Iron - It can help individuals with anemia and help to stimulate production of hemoglobin in the blood.
